Hello! I’m glad you're taking the important step of seeking a therapist for yourself or a loved one. Therapy provides a safe space to navigate life transitions, improve coping skills, and openly express those bottled-up thoughts and emotions without judgment. I believe in advocating for my clients while also empowering them to become their own advocates.
When working with children, I enjoy incorporating creative approaches such as manipulatives, stories, and activities to help them express themselves and practice healthy coping skills. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child reflect on their social-emotional growth and take pride in the progress they’ve made.
I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana in 2019 and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in 2022. Since 2018, I’ve worked in public schools with children from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, addressing disabilities, anxiety, depression, social skills, self-esteem, and trauma. Currently, I focus on working with children and adolescents in person at our Edwardsville office.

Hello! My name is Shervonti and I am a provisionally licensed therapist working towards full licensure in the state of Illinois. I graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2020 with my Master’s in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on adults. I have over four years of clinical experience working within hospital settings, college counseling, and now private practice.
I have experience administering psychological assessments to aid in diagnosis and helping clients better understand their symptoms to create specialized treatment goals. Presenting concerns that I commonly work with include anxiety and mood disorders, trauma and/or stressor related disorders, executive dysfunction, and identity concerns. I strive to create a safe space where anyone can express their authentic self and lean into their emotions. I am a trauma-informed provider that operates out of a humanistic lens to work alongside clients on their journey to mental wellness.
I am currently seeing clients virtually or in-person at our Edwardsville location.
